Darkened skies as black as night
people screaming mad with fright
running scared from such a sight
as the Shadow moves across the ground.
Creeping along while stalking its prey
devouring all who should get in the way
people wishing for the light of day
as the Shadow moves across the ground
It's eyes alert it's muscles taut
it has the prey that it has sought
there it is as good as caught
as the Shadow moves across the ground
The screams the blood the purest thrill
savoring all till it's had it's fill
preparing it's prey for the final kill
as the Shadow moves across the ground
The hunt is over the prey is dead
it goes back slowly to it's bed
a prayer for mercy by all is said
as the Shadow moves across the ground
The End
